Adam Carter, MD

Adam-Carter-MDAdam Carter, MD, FAAD earned his Bachelor of Science in biology and graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA. He then left California to complete his medical school training at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. After graduating as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, he moved to Austin, TX to complete his one-year medicine internship at UT Austin (formerly UTSW Austin). Dr. Carter then made the move to New York City to complete his dermatology residency at New York Medical College where he trained in the public hospitals of Manhattan and Brooklyn. After residency he completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at Affiliated Dermatologists and Dermatologic Surgeons in Morristown, NJ.

Dr. Carter is a board certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs surgeon. He specializes in the comprehensive surgical management of skin cancer and completed over 1000 Mohs cases during his fellowship year. Dr. Carter strives to provide the highest quality care for skin cancer with medical and surgical treatments including Mohs and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Carter has published in several medical journals and is a current member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Medical Association. Dr. Carter takes pride in getting to know his patients and developing individualized treatment plans.
